  • Scaling and peeling skin
  • Widespread very red, itchy lesions as well as skin that is swollen

5. Pustular Psoriasis

This type of psoriasis can either be localized (on hands and feet) or generalized which is also known as palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP) which affects more widespread areas of the body than localized pustular psoriasis. The signs of pustular psoriasis include;

  • Small blister like skin areas
  • These affected areas are usually raised and contain pus that is non infectious
  • These blister like lesions will be surrounded by skin that is red
  • Pain may be experienced in these affected areas making it difficult to walk or perform simple tasks
